Here are a few tips for putting it together:
- If you want the easiest setup, choose the 300 back wing and an 85 cm mast
- If you're sailing in shallower water, choose the 77 cm mast
- If you're looking for something a bit more playful, go for the 250 Nomad back wing
- If you weigh more than 100 kg, choose the 167L model instead of the 137L model
- In light winds: 6.0 or 5.5 wing
- In windier conditions: 5.0 or 4.5

What is a practice session?
A practice session is designed for those who have mastered the basics and want to continue practicing, so they can make faster progress and have more fun without endlessly struggling.
There are two types of training sessions: from a fixed location and as a wing downwinder. We check the weather forecast in advance and choose the best location. Before we start, we’ll briefly discuss what you want to focus on, based on your skill level.
After that, you’ll get out on the water on your own. You’ll have plenty of space to practice independently, without someone constantly standing right next to you. At the same time, there will be someone watching over you and available if you have any questions.
Who is a practice session for?
You can sail on your own, make turns without coming off the foil, and gain a decent amount of height. You don’t need to know how Foiling yet. This corresponds to roughly IWO Level 2 (intermediate).
You’re often at that point right between lessons and independent practice. You want to move on to controlled Foiling IWO Level 3), but you’re still looking for the right conditions and structure to get there.
A practice session helps you practice in a more focused way, with a logical structure and the occasional tip when needed. This way, you’ll make more progress, and the transition to Foiling will be Foiling clearer.
What do we do during a practice session?
We ensure a clear and practical structure so that you get the most out of your session.
- We check the weather forecast in advance and choose the best location
- We'll start on the shore with a quick briefing: goals, equipment, and the best spots to sail
- After that, you'll head out onto the water on your own
- For a wing downwinder, we'll take you by boat or other transportation to starting point A, and together we'll sail to finishing point B
- During the session, we’ll keep things organized and offer occasional tips where needed
This way, you’ll get more done in less time, with a clear overview and less hassle.
