Where are you now?

Maybe this is your first time on a board. Or maybe you've tried it before, but feel like you haven't quite got the hang of it yet. Perhaps you can already sail a little, but notice that your technique and control still need some work.

In all these situations, a wingfoil lesson will help you progress.

What will you learn in this lesson?

  • Control over the wing: steering, balance, and posture
  • Practicing board feel and stability
  • Basic skills for safe and relaxed sailing

Depending on where you are and the conditions, we will work on your posture, position on the board, turns, and upwind sailing. If you are ready and the wind is favorable, a lesson can also focus on your first few meters on the foil.

If conditions are not favorable

The first lesson can usually go ahead as planned. For subsequent lessons, we check the forecast a few days in advance. If the wind conditions aren't suitable, we'll reschedule the lesson in consultation with you.

If you want to schedule two lessons that almost always take place, you can also choose the eFoil & wingfoil package or individual eFoil lessons. These are less dependent on wind conditions and are therefore easy to plan in advance.

From Lessons to Practice Sessions

More about practice sessions

Once you have mastered the wing, can turn without hitting the foil, and can sail reasonably upwind, individual lessons are often no longer the best way to continue learning.

From that point on, we offer the option of training: going out on the water together, practicing in real conditions, and working specifically on progress.

Practical

  • Includes all necessary equipment, life jacket, helmet, and supervision
  • You can indicate if you need a wetsuit when booking.
  • If there isn't enough wind, a foil scooter is available as an alternative
  • Location: Milligerplas or Beulakerwijde, depending on the conditions
  • You will receive the final location via WhatsApp at least one day in advance.
